Saw the video game.

2009 is an exciting year this year not only because of the upcoming Saw VI but also because of the  Saw video game thats coming out this year! The game was first announced in January of 2008 with brash entertainment as its developer but during the month of November the game took a fall and its production stopped due to financial difficulties.  After four months of no further announcements about the game Konami picked up where Brash left off and the video game is now back in production.

It has been revealed by the Saw series producer Oren Koules that the characters in the game will in fact be voiced by their corresponding actors in the films. Charlie Clouser will also be making an appearance as the games music composer.

You can expect the game to be making its way to PC, PS3 and the Xbox360 upon release.  Although I have my doubts about the game, I am excited nonetheless. I think it’s great they are taking this step and experimenting with the franchise even further. Hopefully things turn out well for the game and the overall storyline blows our minds just like the films have.

I agree… I’ll buy the game even if it sucks… because it’s Saw… and James Wan and Leigh Whannell are working on the story 😀
